Beverly J. Toth, 88, of Mercer Street, Berwick, died Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Berwick Hospital Center.
Born June 11, 1925, in Berwick, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin W. and Alberta K. (Wochely) Kreischer.
After her graduation from Berwick High School, she worked as a packer for Wise Foods, retiring in 1989.
Mrs. Toth was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Berwick, where she enthusiastically enjoyed helping and serving her parish with her sister, Jacklyn. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and shopping with her sister-in-law, Lois.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Nicholas P. Toth, who died in 2003; four brothers: Harold, Elster, Charles and John Kreischer; and three sisters: Selena Sweitzer, Phyllis Remaley and Jacklyn Christopher.
Surviving are her son, Nicholas Toth, and his wife, Linda, two daughters: Cynthia, wife of John Boone, and Rose, wife of Michael Levan, all of Berwick; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great- grandchild.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1730 Fowler Ave., Berwick, with the Rev. Francis J. Tamburro, her pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Berwick.
