LUCILLE METZ COOKLE

Lucille Metz Cookle, age 86, a resident of 2122 Michigan Ave,. Manitowoc, died Monday, March 27, 2000, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Cookle will be celebrated by Rev. Ronald Colombo at St. James Catholic Church, Cooperstown, on Friday, March 31, 2000, at 11 a.m.

Lucille was born February 26, 1914, in Milwaukee, daughter of the late George and Martha Carpenter Wagner. In 1941, she married Leonard Metz in Iowa. Mr. Metz preceded her in death. She later married Floyd Cookle in Manitowoc. Mr. Cookle preceded her in death also. She was employed at Kelvinator Company for 24 years retiring in 1974. Lucille was a 50 year member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc.

Survivors include her son, Jerome Metz, Manitowoc; a sister, Grace (Elmer) Reinders, New Berlin; other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; a son, Robert Metz; a sister, Martha Delsmann; eight brothers, Sydney, George, Joseph, Arthur, Chester, Lewin, Eugene and Alvin Wagner.

Friends may call at St. James Catholic Church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, assisted the Cookle family with funeral arrangements.

Lucille's family wishes to thank the staff at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center for the support and compassionate care given us in our time of need. We also would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Drs. (private), and the entire staff at the Manitowoc Clinic. May God bless all of you in pastoral care.
