At the age of 89 years, Mrs. Angela Achtem of Edmonton, formerly of Chipman, took her last breath the morning of October 17, 2012.
Angela is survived by her loving family; daughter, Lynda (Dr. David Neil); son, Wayne (Annabelle); grandchildren, Gregory (Sherri), Tyler, Dana-Marlese, Thien An (Tin), Jayne, Alistair (Georgia), Louise, Patrick, and Elizabeth (Cliff); great-grandchildren, Natalie, Sophie, Jessica, Laura and Madyson. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Achtem; her son, Bryan Achtem; her parents, Nicholas and Rosalia (Molchan) Andrijiw and sisters, Veronica Koshka, Amelia Harmata, Thelma Eleniak, Sister Minadore Ksenia Andrijiw SSMI, Sister Anatole Stephania Andrijiw SSMI, Josephine Starko and her infant sister Elizabeth.
A Visitation will be between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 1 followed by Evening Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 St, Edmonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend Len Gartner at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 2 at St. Joseph's Basilica. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
