His original surname was Arczyszewski, though its shortened version, Arczyk, was commonly extensively used throughout the family. Frank Americanized Arczyk to Archer, and officially adopted it, by early adulthood.
Circa 1938 he relocated to Philadelphia, where he was last employed as a cook in a restaurant. He last resided at 311 N. Marshall St. in Philadelphia.
Frank passed away in Hahnemann Hospital, Philadelphia, the result of severe burns sustained during a February 23 fire in his home.
He never married.

Funeral services from his sister's residence, Mrs. Bertha Ratajczak, 1026 South Clinton Street. Requiem Mass at St. Casimer's [sic] Church. Interment in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
