COLLINS Funeral services for Claude L. Collins, 86, will be held 11AM Wednesday, May 21, 2014 in the chapel at JACKSONVILLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME, 111 Blanding Blvd. Orange Park, FL with Pastor James Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Jacksonville Memory Gardens Cemetery. Claude L. Collins 8/22/1927-5/18/2014 a WWII Veteran. Survived by his loving wife, Faye Collins; children, Janet Grubbs, Michael Collins and Roger Collins; brother, Owens Merrill Collins; sister, Gale Spirakis; grandchildren, Kyle Collins, Gina Collins and Valarie Trevino. Retired from Strahan Shipping Co. after 38 years in 1982. Was instrumental in Development of Port Everglades and Port Miami Cruise Ship Business. Was Foreign Consulate to Danish Government and was Knighted by the Queen of Denmark on January 1, 1994. The family will receive friends Tuesday, (TODAY) from 5PM-7PM at Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
