ALICE SWANK IDDINGS, 91, of Manassas, Virginia passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the Sudley Manor House.
She was born on November 13, 1922 in Prince William County, Virginia the daughter of the late Mark M. and Frances (Earhart) Swank. She was the secretary at Bennett Elementary School for over 35 years. She was an avid gardener, fisherman and enjoyed spending time with the family she adored. She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Iddings who passed away in 1999.
Survivors include her children, Sandra Martin and husband Jerry of Nokesville, Virginia, Bill Iddings and wife Cindy of Belington, West Virginia; brother, Mark M. Swank, Jr of Manassas, Virginia; sister, Barbara J. Petty of Hampton, Virginia; four grandchildren, Jay Martin, Chris Iddings, Caye Glaze and Ginger Zachry; seven great-grandchildren
The family will receive friends 9:00-10:00 am Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, Virginia where funeral services will be held at 10:00 am with Rev. Dr. Billy Tatum officiating. Interment will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens.
