This article was taken from the Semi-Weekly Interior Journal dated December 03, 1901 3 PM (the spelling remains the same as in the article; the article also refers to a son Harry, but this is probably a typ-o and should be Harvey); concerning MILLARD3 DISHON (Robert2, Francis1)

MILLARD DISHON
(Millared was son of Robert Grant Dishon, grandson of Francis Dishon, and brother to my grandpa, James William Dishon)

Accidently killed by his Father--Millard Dishon aged 12, was shot and killed while hunting Friday near Kingville. Robert Dishon and his sons Harry and Millard, had caught sight of a rabbit and Harry fired and killed it. Millard started after it and caught a load of shot from his father's gun. He was struck in the side and died in a few hours. The father is almost prostrated with grief and fears are entertained he can not survive the shock. Millard was a bright good boy and much sorrow is felt at his untimely taking off.
