James H. Edwards, 72, of Springfield, died yesterday at Memorial hospital where he had been a patient since July 24. He was a landscape artist, was a resident of Springfield for 40 years. He was a member of the Seventh Street Baptist church and of AF & AM.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Etta; two sons, Herbert and Glen of Blue Mound; brothers John and Harry of California; sister Mrs. Alice Day of Alsey; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Funeral services at Vancil funeral home. Burial in Oak Ridge cemetery.
