Manervia Catherine Hopper was the daughter of Stephen M and Mary Ann Roach Hopper. She married William Elzie Edwards (son of William Hobson and Ann Virginia West Edwards) 18 Jan 1869 in Adair, KY (his third marriage). They had 8 known children:
Sarah Alice, Emma Elmira, James Henry, Laura Etta, John Riley, Unknown Baby, Lydia W, and Doris. After Manervia died in 1891, William's whereabouts are unknown. His occupation at that time was working on the railroad. His final resting place is unknown.
