Juanita Ollie Brooks, age 86, passed away on May 28, 2014, at the John F. Keever Solace Center. She was born on September 30, 1927, to the late John Bunyan and Ora Davis Arrington. Juanita was a wonderful mother, grandmother, wife, and special friend to all who knew and loved her, always trying to help others. She will be greatly missed by all the lives she has so graciously touched.
In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Brooks; four sisters, Gladys Hill, Joyce Tabor, Lucille Carver, and Virginia Arrington; and one brother, J.B. Arrington.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 31, 2014, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with Brian J. Cagle and Reverend Bobby Downs officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park.
