Funeral services were held Saturday in Church of Christ for Mrs. Frank E. Anderson, 82, Forest Lake. Mrs. Anderson died July 18 in Memorial Hospital where she had been hospitalized since July 11 after suffering a stroke at her home. The Rev. George E. Bloomquist officiated at the 2 p.m. service. Soloist Don Lundgren and organist Mrs. Charles Wells provided the music. Burial was in Scandinavian Cemetery. Grandsons of Mrs. Anderson served as pallbearers. Nellie Louise Spangler was born October 3, 1885, in Winfield, Iowa, the daughter of David and Sarah Spangler. She married Frank E Anderson in Winfield February 26, 1908. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary February 25, 1968, in Church of Christ where they were members. In 1910, the Andersons moved to a farm on highway 61 where they still resided. They built a new home on their property in 1957. Survivors include her widower, Frank; two daughters; six sons; 28 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A Daughter Mrs. Warren (Illa Mae) Patterson preceded her in death.
