One of Forest Lake's oldest residents, Frank E. Anderson, 86, died Tuesday at Memorial Hospital after an illness of about two months. Funeral services will be held tomorrow, Friday, at 3:30 p.m. at the Church of Christ with Pastor Don A. Lawrence officiating. Soloist Don Lundgren and organist Mrs. Charles Wells will provide the music. Interment will be in Scandinavian Cemetery. Mr. Anderson had lived in Forest Lake since 1910 on the same farm where he settled when he came here from Iowa. He was a member of the Church of Christ where he served as an elder for many years. He served as a member of the Forest Lake School bord for 18 years. Born March 30, 1863, in Iowa, the son of Andrew and Augusta Anderson, he married Louise N. Spangler, February 26, 1908 in Winfield, Iowa. She preceded him in death July 18, 1968. A daughter, Ila Mae Patterson also preceded him in death. Survivors include five sons; two daughters; twenty-eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
