Funeral services for Audrey Darrow, 85, of Peerless will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, in Peerless Baptist Church with the Rev. David Burns officiating.
Burial will follow in Peerless Cemetery with Wayne Scot, Billy Scott, Brian Scott, Joe Jennings, Tim Wright and Billy Don Mobley serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Tapp Funeral Home.
Mrs. Darrow died in Sulphur Springs Health and Rehab on Monday, Aug. 21.
She was born in the Peerless community on June 22, 1916, the daughter of Garrison Meador and Dewey Harper Meador. She married Oscar Franklin Darrow on Feb. 28, 1931, in Hugo, Okla. He survives.
Mrs. Darrow was a homemaker. She was also a member of the Baptist faith and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Rebekah Lodge.
Other survivors include three grandchildren, David Allen Darrow of Tenn., Darolyn Darrow of Dallas and Jason Darrow of Irving; and one great-grandchild, Benjamin Darrow of Dallas.
She was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Joe Darrow.
