Donald J. (Duck) Allie, 50, of 2536 - 39th St., Two Rivers, passed away at Two Rivers Municipal Hospital. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, and at 10 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Two Rivers, the Rev. Paul Schumacher officiating. Burial will be Holy Cross Cemetery. Mr. Allie was born Dec. 14, 1923, in Two Rivers, son of the late Alfred and Blanche Emond Allie. He attended St. Luke Parochial School and Washington High School. He had been a welder at Hydra-Tool Inc., Two Rivers. Survivors include his wife, the former Bernice Bonin, whom he married at Manitowoc, Oct. 20, 1943; four daughters, Mrs. Robert (Kathy) Shimon, Mrs. Peter (Jean) Koch, Mrs. Gary (Joan) Kohls and Miss Laurie Allie of Two Rivers; two sons, Alfred and Arthur, of Two Rivers; a sister, Mrs. Gerald Kasten, of Two Rivers, a brother, Richard Allie, of Two Rivers and two grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral chapels from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Bernice Bonin, Donald Allie Pledge Vows at Manitowoc This Morning Wearing a period gown of white taffeta, Miss Bernice Anna Bonin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Bonin, 631 S. 25th St., Manitowoc, today became the bride of Pfc. Donald Joseph Allie, son of Acting City Clerk and Mrs. Alfred Allie, 910 - 21st St. The Rev. Martin Jaekels read the nuptial mass at St. Paul's Catholic church at Manitowoc this morning at nine o'clock in the presence of immediate relatives and friends. Miss Violet Bonin was her sister's maid of honor, and Miss Hildegarde Bonin, her sister's only other attendant. Pvt. Richard Allie came from Camp Ellis, Ill., to be best man at his brother's wedding. The bride's gown was fashioned with a low Basque and bouffant skirt which ended in a long graceful train. The V neckline was edged with handmade lace and the long sleeves ended in points over her hands. Her fingertip veil which was edged with the same lace as her gown, fell from a sweetheart bonnet effect. She carried on arrangement of white roses. The maid of honor, wearing pink starched chiffon, carried salmon colored roses. Her sister was attired in a frock of power blue starched chiffon and carried yellow roses. Dinner and supper for the immediate families was served at the bride's home and this evening, the newlyweds will greet relatives and friends at a reception there. They will leave on a short wedding trip to Milwaukee. The groom is stationed with the U.S. Army air Corps, signal pigeon comp., at Lake Charles, La. He attended the Washington High School here.
