M I C H A E L . . . . I was thinking about you the other day, specifically about it being over for you, really over. Your book has been written. There was a beginning, a middle, and the final chapter. A few minutes later Margaret sends me this pic. Teresa just sent to her. (Thank you Teresa). Margaret said, "look how happy he looks!" Before putting it on here, I was going to enlarge it, but I couldn't. I believe that's Grandma's hand on Teresa. Those knuckles look very familiar. I didn't want Her hand to be cut out. One of the first things I wrote on your Find a Grave was, you don't know what you have until it's gone. One of the many problems with life is, you're so caught up in the day to day nonsense of whatever life throws at you, finding the time to show the ones you care about the most just how much they mean to you, becomes very difficult. No one ever wants to think about death. We always think there will be a tomorrow, and take it for granted. Grandma would always say, "Don't wait until I'm dead...." She was so right, with soo many things. You are both missed and loved beyond words....

But I went in & took my test & passed I know you were there helping me out! You told me I could do it & I did :) rest in peace Mike & know you will be missed dearly I love you & I pray for those who looked at me not knowing you were my father you taught me to be the strong woman I am today ! Look how happy you were! The good ole' days! Grandma had a special way of making you feel like you were the most special and important child in the world. I guess it's all the love She would give unconditionally. You also had that same gift. How lucky we were! You are missed and loved Michael more than you could ever imagine! I love you Buddy!!

I remember this picture being taken like it was yesterday. But in reality, it was a life time ago. Forty plus years. I remember being afraid of falling out of the tree. You were like, "look at me, there's nothing to be afraid of." You were always clowning around, and having fun, no matter what we were doing. My Father put his hand on me to assure me I wouldn't fall. The Mercury Montego is in the background. My Father let me steer it in the parking lot that day, which made my day. Of course the greatest Grandmother in the world is taking the picture. I don't remember many pictures, if any, of the three of us in a pic.. I miss you and love you more then you could ever imagine Buddy!!
