Rose Mary Ballew, of Jacksonville, was born February 28, 1940 in Lock Haven, PA. She went to be with the Lord on September 6, 2011, peacefully at home, at the age of 71. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Robert W. and Laura Bauman of Lock Haven, PA; and a brother, William H. Bauman of Mill Hall, PA. Rose Mary was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all that knew her. She will truly be missed by all. Rose Mary attended Calvary Baptist Church in North Little Rock, AR. She was a member of the Ladies VFW Auxiliary, Post 4548, for over fifteen years. She loved bowling, and was a very graceful roller skater in years past. Survivors include a very loving and devoted husband of 38 years, retired USAF SMSGT Max Earl Ballew; son, Steven Earl Ballew and wife, Amanda Brooke Ballew of Jacksonville, AR; a dranddaughter, "an apple of her eye," Bailey Anna Rose Ballew; two sisters, Sara and husband Paul Weeder of Rote, PA; and Ginger and husband Peter Roberts of Bethlehem, PA. Prior to passing, Rose Mary received blessings from Brother Heath of Calvary Baptist Church and Father Tessing of Morrilton, AR. Rose Mary is now at peace with her Lord and Savior.
