Sara E. “Chip” (Bauman) Weeder, 76, of Mill Hall passed away Sunday, March 4, at UPMC Susquehanna in Williamsport.

She was born June 9, 1941, in Lock Haven a daughter of the late Robert W. and Laura E. (Workman) Bauman.

Sara was married on December 20, 1962, to Glen P. “Paul” Weeder, Jr. He died July 9, 2013. They celebrated 50 years of marriage together.

She worked in the cafeteria at Keystone Central School for several years. She enjoyed bowling and knitting.

Sara was a member of the Castanea Fire Hall, Moose, VFW and the Beech Creek American Legion.

Surviving are two sons; Robert P. (Deb) Weeder of Flemington and William (Chris) Weeder of Mill Hall also four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

One sister Ginger Roberts of Bethlehem.

Sara was preceded in death by a sister Rose Ballew and a brother William Bauman.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 8, from 12 P.M. – 1:00 P.M. at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall.

Burial will be private at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society (Clinton Unit) 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
