Mrs. Pauline Bebeau, 74, a long-time resident of Mishicot, who formerly resided at 1814-22nd St., Two Rivers, died early Saturday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she had been a patient nine days. She had been in failing health
for eight and a half years.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers and at 9 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church, the Rev. H. J. Schmitz officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mrs. Bebeau, nee Pauline Benzinger, was born in the Town of Mishicot April 25, 1888, daughter of the late John and Frances Hess Benzinger. She attended Saxonburg District School and in 1906 she was married to Henry Flentje of Mishicot. He preceded her in death 34 years ago, having been killed in a deer hunting accident. She was married to Edward Bebeau in September of 1950. He died the same year in November. Several years after becoming afflicted with a stroke in 1954 she became a patient at a Sheboygan nursing home and for nearly three years she was at Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc.
Surviving are a son, Howard of Mishicot; a stepson, Roger Bebeau of Milwaukee; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Edward Doidge in Pennsylvania; six sisters, Mrs. Michael Popp and Mrs. B. J. Schwartz of Milwaukee, Mrs. William Lawrence of Manitowoc and Mrs. Martha Peot, Mrs. Milton Peltier and Mrs. Leo Deja of Two Rivers; four brothers, Oscar and John of Mishicot, and Arthur and Joseph Benzinger of Two Rivers; six
grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral chapels after 2 p.m. Sunday here the Rosary will be recited at 8:15 p.m.
