Walter "Wally" K. Dedering, age 80, of New Holstein died Thursday, April 7, 2011 at the University Hospital in Madison.

He was born July 30, 1930 in Plymouth, WI to the late Henry & Emma (Mahlich) Dedering.

He served in the Army from August 2, 1951 – July 14, 1953.

Wally was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein and the New Holstein American Legion Post 124.

Survivors include his five children, Douglas (Laura) Dedering of Menasha, Michael (Jennifer) Dedering of Brillion, Evelyn Thimmig of Chilton, Gary Dedering and his friend, Angie Bunting, of Chilton and Amy (Nicholas) Spettel of Brillion; eight grandchildren; his two sisters, Sally (Norman) Dins and Loretta Rozman both of New Holstein and his brother, Alvin (Ethel) Dedering of Milwaukee.

Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers, Robert & Raymond Dedering.

Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at the Sippel Funeral Home in New Holstein. Rev. Harold Berryman presided. Burial took place in the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in New Holstein.
