Leticia P. Archuleta

A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church for Leticia P. Archuleta, 73, of Roswell who passed away Sunday, Jan. 14 2001, at her home.
A mass is scheduled for 10 a.m., today, Jan. 17, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Fr. Juan Montoya O.F.M. will officiate. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.
Leticia was born May 8, 1927, in Lincoln to Ramon Padilla and Juanita Carabajal Padilla.

In 1939, Leticia married Clovis O. Archuleta in Capitan. He preceded her in death as well as both parents, six brothers, three sons and one daughter.
Leticia was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
Survivors include her sons, Leroy Archuleta and his wife, Cynthia, Clovis Archuleta Jr. and his wife, Mona, all of Roswell, Richard Archuleta and his wife, Patricia of Springfield, Ore., Danny Archuleta and his wife, Gloria, “Poncho” Frank Archuleta and his wife, Sylvia and Paul Archuleta and his wife, Angela, all of Roswell; daughters, Rosie Guevara, Antonia Rodriguez and her husband, Jose Sr., Ramona De Los Santos and her husband, Edward, Maria Archuleta and Anna Archuleta.
Leticia also had 50 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Clovis Archuleta Jr., Frank Archuleta, Ramon De Los Santos, Levi Archuleta, Paul Juan Archuleta, Jose Rodriguez and Larry Archuleta.
Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Archuleta, Leroy Archuleta, Paul Archuleta, Juan Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez Sr., Ruben Archuleta, L.A. Archuleta, Chris Archuleta, Andrew Valadez, Michael Ramon, Rudy Archuleta, Joshua Archuleta, Carlos Romero, Israel Archuleta, Monica Archuleta and all other grandchildren.
The Archuleta family will be receiving friends at 1705 N. Michigan Ave., Roswell.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ballard Funeral Home.
