She was the daughter of George W. Miller and Susan Frances Shinault Miller. She was the wife of Taylor Z. Haynes (whose burial place is unknown.) Their children were Josephine E, 1896; Willie Ada, 1897; Ora Lee, 1899; Ernest Charles, 1902; George Miller, 1905; Charles A., 1906; and Carrie Christine, 1908. She died Sept. 22, 1908, after giving birth to her baby daughter, Carrie Christine Haynes on Aug. 8, 1908, and the younger children were divided among their family members to raise.
A son, Charley Audrie Haynes was adopted by his uncle and aunt, Walter Austin Miller and Sarah Elizabeth "Bettie" Pickett Haynes, and is buried in New Rosemont Cemetery, Benton, Saline County, Arkansas.
