Francis loved his family. He was a former member of the Knight of Columbus. He was active in the Right to Life Party. He loved history, especially WWII. He loved his cats. He enjoyed checkers, chess and scrabble. He had a great sense of humor.
He married his loving wife Joan(nee Delaney) on September 11, 1962. Together they had three children; Lisa, Laura (Richard) Scott and Francis John. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Joseph, Nicholas and Sarah and great grandchildren Holly, Anthony and Chloe; his siblings, Leo, Claire and Eileen.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday June 20, 2014 from 10AM - 12 Noon at Decker Funeral Home, St. RT 23, Windham, NY. with a funeral service to follow at 12 Noon. Interment to follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Ashland, NY. A memorial Mass will be held on Friday June 20, 2014 at 6:30 PM at the Sacred Heart RC Church, Cairo, NY.
