LEMUEL STEVSNS4 Joseph3 Simon2 Cyprian1, born Petersham Jan 10, 1748 (town record Jan 1, 1753) married Newfane Vt. about 1772 Hannah Green, born England about 1750. She died Newfane, Vt . Apr 1, 1795. He was constable & overseer of highways Newfane Vt. removed to Stukley township P. Q. i n 1800. He died Brompton P.Q. July 31, 1818, He served a few days in the Revolution. He & his son Artemus received land in the "Eastern Townships from the Dominion Govt, in 1795.
