Amanda Ciha, 87, of North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc, died early Tuesday morning, April 7, 1987 at the Home. Funeral services will be 10 am Thursday at St. Mark Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. Robert Sladek will officiate and burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

Mrs. Ciha was born April 4, 1900 at Coleman, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Eugene and Justine LaPean Lesperance. She was married to Albert A. Ciha, May 11, 1920 at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. He preceded her in death November 15, 1978.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Albert Jr. and Therese Ciha of Manitowoc; three daughters and four sons-in-law, Eunice and Vernon Jansky of Two Rivers, Lorraine and Norbert Jansky of Two Rivers, Shirley and Wayne Beninghaus of Mauldin, South Carolina and Raymond Becker of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Eva Kenville of Manitowoc; 16 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Paul, a daughter, Priscilla Becker, three brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two rivers, 4 pm to 8 pm Wednesday, where a parish memorial service will be 7:30 pm at the Funeral Home.

Marriage of Albert/Amanda Ciha

Albert Ciha and Miss Amanda Lesperance were united in marriage at St. Luke Church Tuesday morning. Edward Ciha was best man and Miss Eloide Brault, bridesmaid.

Attending couples were Victor Lesperance, Miss Rosebelle Pilon, Fred Lesperance and Miss Agnes Radzinsky. Many friends witnessed the ceremony, the bride presenting a charming appearance in a white net dress trimmed with satin and wearing a bandeau of pearls. A ball at Armory Hall in the evening in honor of the event was largely attended by invited guests.
