LOUIS KUMBALEK (d. 1966)
Louis J. Kumbalek, 64, of 2023 Jackson St., Two Rivers, retired longtime employe of Eggers Plywood Co., Two Rivers, died Tuesday night at home. He had been in failing health for a number of years.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Klein & Stangel Inc., Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. with a solemn requiem high Mass at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Celebrant will be the Rev. Gilbert Schneider and Deacon and sub-deacon will be the Revs. John Neuser and George Beth, respectively. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mr. Kumbalek was born March 1, 1901, at Two Rivers, son of the late Louis and Hattie Landt Kumbalek. He attended St. Luke Parochial School at Two Rivers. A member of the Eggers 10-Year Club he retired fror the firm because of illness 10 years ago. He was also a member of St. Luke Holy Name Society.
Surviving are his wife, the former Theresa Neumann, whom he married at St. Luke Church May 27, 1924; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Fitzpatrick of Milwaukee and Mrs. Harold Huff, of Green Bay; four sons, Vernon and Donald, of Two Rivers, Hilary, of Manitowoc and Leonard, of Green Bay; a sister, Mrs. Betty Lemmer, of Milwauke; five brothers, Cornelius and Ernest, of Two Rivers, Norbert, of Manitowoc and Sylvester and Roland, of Mishicot and 25 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday where thr Rosary will be recited at 7:45 p.m.
