Everett C. Emond, 70, of 2336 - 38th Street, Two Rivers, died Wednesday afternoon, May 30, at Milwaukee County Medical Complex. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. Paul Schumacher will officiate with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. Mr. Emond was born October 20, 1913, at Niagra, Wisconsin, son of George and Ida Ruelle Emond. He married the former Elsie Cerkas on October 9, 1935, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Mr. Emond is a retired supervisor from Mirro Corporation. Mr. Emond was a member of the Men of Holy Redeemer. Survivors include his wife, Elsie; three sons and daughters-in-law, James and Linda of Two Rivers, Douglas and Shirley of Mishicot and Wes and Judy of Manitowoc; a daughter and a son-in-law, Sharon and Daniel O'Conner of Two Rivers; a brother, Kenneth Emond of Brownsville, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Jen Schmitt of Two Rivers and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by seven brothers, four sisters and a grandson. Friends may call at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home after 4 p.m. on Friday evening.
