Cecil Jones Trimble, age 73 of Wellington, died Thursday, January 16, 2003 in Amarillo.
Born January 30, 1929 to John W. and Rosa Bishop Trimble in Wellington. He worked for the City of Wellington and other jobs including being a milkman and a theater attendant for the Ritz Theater for nine years. He was a member of the Fundamental Baptist church.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Patricia Trimble; a son, Jimmy Trimble and a sister, Mary Tarver.
Survivors include three daughters, Kathy Sawatsky of Weatherford, OK; Deborah Ellifritz of Memphis and Sharon Shipp of Oklahoma City, OK; a son, Eddie Trimble of Dipolog, The Philippines;
Two brothers, R.J. "Bud" Trimble of Tyler and John Trimble of McAllen; two sisters, Ophelia Bergvall of Wellington and Louella Dowdy of Edmond, OK; 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
