CHESTER FLENTJE
Chester Flentje, 73, of 1623 20th St., Two Rivers, died Tuesday morning, Jan. 22, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. Greg Smith will officiate and burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mr. Flentje was born Aug. 29, 1911, at Mishicot, son of the late Charles and Mary Benzinger Flentje. He attended Mishicot Parochial School and later the family moved to Cavour, Wis., where he finished his education. He later was employed at Mirro Aluminum Company for a number of years. He was a Machine Operator for the City of Two Rivers and later he and his brother operated Flentje Brothers Home Improvement. He built and operated the Cool City Motel and later built a motel at White River, Ontario, which he operated until semi-retirement in 1970. Mr. Flentje was a member of Senior Citizens. He married Eleanore Dahm, May 21, 1932, at Waukegan, Ill.
Survivors include his wife, a son and daughter-in-law, Eugene and Joyce of Two Rivers; a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Kenneth Eisenmann of Cocoa, Fla.; three brothers, Melvin of Prairie du Sac, Ralph of Manitowoc and Paul of Littleton, Colo; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Demro of Pembine, Mrs. Gladys Daetz and Mrs. Loretta Wilson both of Two Rivers and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter and an infant granddaughter.
Friends may call at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.Thursday, where a memorial service will be 7 p.m.
