Mrs. Laura Grimm, 81, of 1908 Roosevelt Ave., Two Rivers, died late Monday evening, January 11, at Americana East Nursing home, Green Bay.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mark Cahtolic Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. Robert Rhyner will officiate and burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

Mrs. Grimm, nee Laura Geimer, was born Sept. 25, 1900, in the Town of Two Rivers, daughter of the late Jake and Marianne Gagnon Geimer.

The family owned and operated a cheese factory 28 years in the Town of Two Creeks and they also managed the Lakeview Net Company for 30 years. She attended Wood Business College and completed a two year business course. She was then employed at Schmitt Lumber Company, Two Rivers for three years until her marriage. She was married to Ed Grimm Oct. 24, 1921, at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. In 1950 the couple moved to Two Rivers, where they reside until her death. Mrs. Grimm was a member of St. Mark Altar Society and an active member of the Duplicate Bridge Club of Manitowoc.

Survivors include her husband, Ed Grimm, two sons and daughters-in-law, Lawrence and LeVeda Grimm of Two Rivers and George and Sue Grimm of Wauwatosa and a daughter, Mrs. Gloria Ann Burish of Manitowoc, three brothers, Ervin and Albert Geimer of Two Rivers and Martin Geimer of Kenmore, N.Y.; four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Kortas of Manitowoc, Mrs. Harold (Bernice) Roehl of Naughton, Wis., Mrs. George (Grace) Smith of Lockport, N.Y., and Mrs. Phil (Ethelwyn) Hanson of Windsor, Wis., and four grandchildren, Susan Burish, John Burish, Marianne Burish and Dick Burish and two great grandchildren. Two brothers, Frederick and William, two sisters, Sister M. Bernice and Sister M. Candida and a grandchild, Andrew Grimm preceded her in death.

The casket will be moved to the church 9 a.m. Thursday, where the body will lie in state until the time of service. Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, are in charge of arrangements.
