Thomas R. Douglas
The sudden death occurred Wednesday, September 23rd , at Russell Hospital, of Thomas R. Douglas, aged 56 Years, beloved husband of Marjorie Douglas, of Binscarth, Manitoba.
Tom was born and raised in the Binscarth district and has farmed ever since leaving school.
Besides his wife, he leaves to mourn his passing, Four sons, Stuart, Gary, Jack and Bruce and four grandchildren, all of Binscarth.
Also, two sisters, SUSIE (Mrs. Lloyd Joyce), of Victoria, B.C., and IDA (Mrs. Jack Carr)of Dryden, Ontario.
The funeral was held in St. Matthew's Anglican Church, conducted by Cannon Hyatt with interment in Binscarth Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Benny Murray, Louis Johnson, George Matheson, Wes Clement, Bill Klowak, and Warren Thompson.
