Our beloved mother passed away peacefully with her children by her side on Jan. 19.
Joyce Jenkins was born Dec. 21, 1928 in London, England. She moved to the United States in 1962.
Joyce chose the career of a registered nurse because she loved caring for the ill.
Joyce was devoted to her family and was a loving grandmother and great-grandmother.
She loved to quilt and garden. Joyce was very gifted in her ability to create beauty in the quilts she crafted.
Joyce is survived by her four children,
Jocelyn Mallory and her husband Walter of Klamath Falls, Ore.,
Jillian Conlin and her husband Thomas of Bellflower, Deirdre Mahaney and her husband Dennis of Bear Valley Spring, and
David Harris and his wife Pamela of Tulare;
her grandchildren,
Lynette and
Dan Devine,
Brent Mallory,
Eric Burkhart,
Jeff and
Kriss Mahaney,
Sarah and
Dave Nienaber, and
Sean and
Bryce Harris;
her great-grandchildren,
Spencer and Emma Devine,
Kristopher Burkhart and
Kylie Mahaney.
A memorial service will be held at her residence in Bear Valley Springs on Jan. 28.
