Norma Jean "Jeanie" Dailey passed away at her Milwaukie residence on the morning of July 13, 2010. Jeanie was born Jan. 11, 1929, to Leander and Mary (Brown) Fowler in Portland. In 1948 she married the love of her life, Arthur Eugene Dailey, in Vancouver. She owned Dailey's Inventory Service for many years prior to retirement. Jeanie co-sponsored men's and women's slow pitch softball and football teams in the Portland area; she was also a past president and treasurer of the Northwest Steelheaders (McLoughlin Chapter), in addition to serving on their board and overseeing many of their activities for over 10 years. Jeanie is survived by her son, Ron Dailey; daughter, Rhonda Larson; brothers, Winfred Fowler, Joseph Fowler, and Kenneth Fowler; sister, Kathleen Hall; grandchildren, Shane Dailey, Sheyenne Dailey, Tiffany Larson (husband, Matthew), Kevin Larson (wife, Megan), and Jana Dynes (husband, Mychal); six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, at the North Clackamas Park (Milwaukie Expressway and Rusk Road), Covered Area A; at Jeanie's request, there will also be a potluck picnic. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be sent to Providence Willamette Falls Hospice. Arrangements by Crown Memorial Center - Milwaukie.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Norma Jean "Jeanie" Dailey on August 12th, 2010 at 5:30 pm at the North Clackamas Park (Milwaukie Expressway and Rusk Road), Covered Area A; at Jeanie's request, there will also be a potluck/picnic. She passed away at her Milwaukie residence on the morning of July 13, 2010. Jeanie was born to Leander and Mary (Brown) Fowler on January 11, 1929 in Portland, Oregon. She married the love of her life, Arthur Eugene Dailey, in 1948 in Vancouver, Washington. She owned Dailey's Inventory Service for many years prior to retirement.
