Lois Virginia Monteith
Lois Virginia Monteith died Dec. 7, 2000, at age 74. A private service will
be held. Mrs. Monteith was born Sept. 26, 1926, in Palouse, Wash. Her
maiden name was Fowler. She was a homemaker. She lived in the
Portland and Salem areas for 45 years until moving to Escalon, Calif., six
years ago.
Survivors include her sons, Richard Sirokman, Bernard Sirokman and
David Sirokman; daughters, Mary Phillips, Georgianna Renfro, Norma
Montez, Sherry Boyd and Lynn Juarez; brothers, Joseph Fowler, Winfred
Fowler, Kenneth Fowler and Lee Fowler; sisters, Norma Daily and
Kathleen Hall; 26 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests remembrances to the Community Hospice in
Modesto, Calif. Arrangements are by Eaton Family Funeral & Cremation
Service in Modesto.
