Chuck, 77, beloved husband, dad, papa and uncle, passed away on June 29, 2014.

He was born November 1, 1936, in Farmington, NM to Paul and Pearl (Baldwin) McFarland.

Chuck was a member of Oakcrest Church of Christ, where he served as a longtime Shepherd, song leader, and singer.

He was the ultimate fishing buddy, volunteer shade-tree mechanic and encourager. He was retired from Dana Corp.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Myrna; sons, Keith & wife Kelli, Kevin, and Ken; daughter, Karen & husband Woody; grandchildren, Michelle Korosy & husband Ted, Michael, Melinda Dodson & husband Peter, Beau, Jonathan, Chris, Blake, Stephen, Kayla, Lindsay, Will, and Cole; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Jack Wheat and Calvin Creasser; sisters-in-law, Viva McFarland and Ruth Bell; and a host of nephews and nieces and friends.

Viewing will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday with the family receiving friends 6-8 p.m. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at Oakcrest Church of Christ. Friends may leave condolences for the family at www.vondelsmithmortuary.com
