FALLS MILLS, Va. — Margaret Hill Jones, 93, of Falls Mills, Va., died Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. She was born in Gary, W.Va. and was a daughter of the late Charles M. Hill and Rissie Wagner Hill.
She was a member of the Macedonia United Methodist Church in Mudfork, Va., and was a former employee for W. T. Grant Grocery Store for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. Jones; brothers, George Hill and Hubert Hill; and by sisters, Louise Butt and Ethel Hash. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Survivors include special nephew, Lansing Hill, Falls Mills, Va.; special niece, Ann Lester, Sparta, Ga.; sister-in-law, Florence Bailey, Sparta, Ga.; several other nieces and nephews; special friends, Connie Bailey, Libby Pace, and Betty Rorrer, all of Falls Mills, Va., and Elaine Jessee and Elsie Sarver of Bluefield, Va.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Macedonia United Methodist Church in Mudfork with the Reverend Larry Ramey and the Reverend Raymond Klaiber officiating. Burial will follow in the Wagner Cemetery, Mudfork, Va. Pallbearers will be Don Bailey, Jim Bailey, Jarrod Bailey, Keith Franklin, Mike Jessee and Jim Rorrer. Friends may call today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Dudley Memorial Mortuary in Bluefield, Va.

Per a cousin in Bluefield, Tazewell, VA: Regarding the Lster mentioned in the obituary of Nannie Margaret HILL Jones:
The Lester's side of the family was no kin, other than through the marriage of George Alan Lester to Ann Bailey Lester, d/o Paul and Florence Jones Bailey.
Harold and Margaret Hill Jones used to live in the big white house, almost opposite the Taft Wagner home, and beside the James Elwood & Edna Bailey old home-place (in the curve - over on the hillside).
Therefore, Ann Bailey Lester is a niece, and Florence Jones Bailey would be the sister-in-law.

Margaret Hill Jones (Louise Butt's sister) was there and she is up in years but looks wonderful and helps out in the kitchen. She lives alone in a trailer, near Betty Bailey Rorrer's house (the Woody Bailey home). Betty nor her husband or sons attended this year as she has some kind of illness but I don't know what.
