Enina G. (Rowland) Emory, 80, of 13114 Mentzer Gap Road, died Friday NOv 30, 2007 at her home.

Born Dec 10, 1926, in Beartown, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Jacob H. and Mable I. Flenner Rowland.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Emory, January 5, 1945, in Hagerstown, Washington County, MD. She was a life long resident of the Beartown area and attended the Monterey school in Blue Ridge Summit, PA. Mrs. Emory did seasonal work for Knouse Foods in Orrtanna, PA and Biglerville, PA. She later worked for Byers' Ice and Cold Storage in Greencastle. She was a member of the Episcopal Church at Calvary Chapel in Beartown, where she also was a member of the Calvary Chapel Women Sewing Circle and Alter Guild. She also helped with the Christmas Bazaar in the church. Mrs. Emory enjoyed spending time with her family, taking church bus trips with her late husband, listening to gospel and country music, working in her flower beds, working on crafts, baking for her family and friends and helping others.

She is survived by three daughters, Isabelle L. Brown of Quincy, PA; Linda K. Jones of Mont Alto, PA; Connie A. Wetzel of Five Forks, PA, three sons, John T. Emory, Arnold D. Emory and Donald L. Emory all of Beartown, 13 grandchildren, one step-grandson, 11 great-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren, one sister, Ruby U. Crilley of Gettysburg, two brothers, Raymond S. Rowland of Rouzerville, PA, Kenneth E. Rowland of Beartown and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Geneva Shockey and Betty Green and two brothers, Dilbert Rowland and Emmert Rowland.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Episcopal Church at Calvery Chapel, Wayensboro. The Rev. Barton Barry will officiate. Burial will be in the cemetery adjoining the church.
