Ada Masters daughter of Commodore Perry Masters and Sarah Anna Evealine one of seven children, she married Jahu Wesley DeVore of Louisville, Kentucky in Aug. 14, 1923 they had eight children, three daughters Sarah, Ada Mae and Josephine and five sons, Raymond, Jahu, Jr., Perry, Earl, and Lawerance. She was a strong christian women, that believed in the power of prayer, the church and our lord Jesus.
