"Mrs. Ocie Butler Lash, 71, of 604 N. Ann Arbor, pioneer city school teacher, died Saturday in a city rest home following a long illness. Arrangements will be announced by Street & Draper funeral home.
A native of Wichita, Kan., Mrs. Lash came to Oklahoma City during the 'run' of 1889. She taught in public schools here more than 12 years. She was the wife of the late C. E. Lash, city oil field worker. She was a member of the '89er club.
