Angelina and her husband Harvey Lewis were part owners of the Hopewell Iron Furnace in Livingston County, KY in the late 1840's, and sold their share.

Harvey Lewis and his wife Angelina Leathers died during the Yellow Fever Epidemic of 1855 and 1857, while living in Covington, KY.

(inscription noted by young daughter Annie Lewis Sellers when living in Covington, KY until 1868, and included in the Family Bible).

She was not reinterred at Highland Cemetery, as were a few family members in the mid-1870's, perhaps because she was a victim of Yellow Fever.
