Herald Coaster, September 26, 1984:

Funeral services for Guy N. Wynn Sr., 90, of Richmond, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Richmond, with the Rev John Lockhart officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Wynn died Monday at Eagle Lake Community Hospital. He had been an administrator in the Lamar School District. He served as a deacon at First Baptist Church of Richmond.

Survivors includes two daughters, Mrs. A.L. (Winona) Rolf of Eagle Lake and Mrs. Leon (Patti) Mahler of Orchard; two sons, Guy N. Wynn Jr. of Page and A.R. "Robby" Wynn of Port Arthur; one brother, C.A. Wynn of Alton, MO; three sisters, Mrs. Homer Davenport of Rosenberg, Mrs. C.D. Knight of Friendswood, and Mrs. Gary Evans of Conroe; two grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Guy N. Wynn Scholarship Fund at First Baptist Church of Richmond.
