ADAM WACHOWSKI
Adam Wachowski, 78, of Herman Road, Manitowoc, a retired veteran employe of Mirro Aluminum Co., Two Rivers, died early Wednesday morning at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, where he had been a patient since Thursday.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, and at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Two Rivers, the Rev. Joseph Gabryszek officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Adam Wachowski was born Sept. 3, 1883, at Chicago, son of the late John and Gertrude Buretta Wachowski. When he was 11 the family brought him to a farm at Pulaski Wis., where he married the former Helen Zywicki Feb. 26, 1906. The family moved to Two Rivers 40 years ago where Mr. Wachowski was employed by Mirro Aluminum Co. until his retirement six years ago. He was a member of Holy Name Society of Sacred Heart church.
Besides his wife he leaves four daughters, Mrs. Florian Pokorsky, Mrs. Charles Braun, Mrs. Louis Lodel and Mrs. Gordon Dvorak of Two Rivers; four sons, Theodore and John of Manitowoc, Frank of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, and Richard of Two Rivers; a sister, Mrs. Vincent Vielinski of Pulaski, 23 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
