Born Jan. 21, 1925, to Otis and Ruth Kiesewetter Barker, he married Dolores ZanDeVeer on Nov. 30, 1946, in Peoria.
She survives, along with one son, David W., and one daughter, Debbie Hicks, both of Indianapolis; two brothers, Raymond of Clearwater, Fla., and Roland of Peoria; and four sisters, Rosemary Gebhuer, Geraldine Knobloch and Jean Davis, all of Clearwater, and Kathleen Van Pelt of Leiters Ford, Ind.
He was a retired Baptist minister.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
