Oscar W. Glaeser, 67, of 707 Revere Dr., Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Bethany Lutheran Church,
Manitowoc. The Rev. Robert Sawall will officiate and burial will be in
Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.
Mr. Glaeser was born Jan. 29, 1905, in the Town of Cato, son of the late
August and Paulina Rusch Glaeser. He married Helen Scott July 9, 1927, at
Waukegan, Ill., and the couple located in Manitowoc. He had been employed
at Mirro Aluminum Co. until his retirement in 1965. Mr. Glaeser was a member
of the Steel Workers Local No. 6499.
Survivors include his wife, two sons and two daughters (Survivors omitted
for privacy.); two brothers, Emil and Walter of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs.
Joseph Barilla of Manitowoc; 18 grandchildren and a great grandchild. A
daughter and two brothers preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 3 to
9 p.m. Friday until noon Saturday and then at the church until the time of service.
