Helen Glaeser LeCaptain, age 86, of N612 Woodside Road, Kewaunee, died late Tuesday evening, November 1, 1994, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, November 4, 1994, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tisch Mills. Rev. Gerald Kempen will officiate with burial at Knollwood Memorial Gardens.
She was born August 6, 1906, in Ludington, Michigan, daughter of the late Frank and Jessie Cole Scott. She was married to Oscar Glaeser, July 6, 1927. He preceded her in death February 9, 1972. On November 19, 1973, she married Nelson LeCaptain.
Survivors include her husband, Nelson, Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc; one daughter, Janet (Edward) Matthies, Manitowoc; two sons, Rodney (Barbara) Glaeser, Fond du Lac, John Glaeser, Montrose, Mich.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Althea (Louis) Bogart, Mountain, Wis., Mrs. Rita (Norman) Paul, Algoma; step-daughter-in-law, Sally LeCaptain, Green Bay; four step-sons, Donald (Dorothy) LeCaptain, Green Bay, Robert (Bernice) LeCaptain, Maribel, Alan (Diane) LeCaptain, Manitowoc, Carlton (Jelain) LeCaptain, Algoma; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; many step-grand and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Harriet Hynek and Joanne Trippler, one step-son, Eugene, five brothers and six sisters also preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, from 4-8 p.m. Thursday (TONIGHT) and Friday at the church form 10 a.m. until the time of service. A prayer service will be held this evening at 7:30 p.m.
