Aline Cutter Farr, 89, of Manchester, formerly of Greenfield, died October 25, 2001, at Northwood-Harborside Nursing Home in Bedford NH. She was one of seven children born at the Cutter family homestead on Winter Street in Peterborough on January 7, 1912, the daughter of Grace H. (Sheldon) and Orlo Cutter. She lived in Waltham MA, Reeds Ferry NH, Nashua NH, and Greenfield NH before moving to Manchester NH in 1994.
Mrs. Farr was raised in Peterborough and graduated valedictorian from Peterborough High School, class of 1929. She was a past president of the Waltham (Masschusetts) Womens Club, past president of DeMolay Mothers Club, and served as a Boy Scout den mother
She leaves her husband of 68 years, Clarence W. Farr of Manchester; sons Robert C. Farr of Manchester and Richard S. Farr of Fremont CA; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister Florence M. Hussey of Wilton NH; brother Howard C. Cutter of Keene NH; and nieces and nephews.
