Eugenia Ray Rodgers, 95, died July 17, 2014 at Brandon Nursing & Rehab. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home on High Street in Jackson, MS. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow in Lakewood Memorial Park on Clinton Boulevard.
She was born in Weir, MS and was a long-time resident of Jackson. Mrs. Rodgers was a homemaker with a love for gardening and a great talent for crocheting. At the time of her death, she was a resident at Brandon Nursing & Rehab.
Her husband, Upton E. Rodgers, preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and three sisters.
Mrs. Rodgers is survived by her son, Toby Rodgers, and his wife, Becky, of Florence, MS, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
