She came to the United States in May of 1912. She had a sister living in the Mainline of Philadelphia and stayed with her. She later married Ernesto "Ernest" Grosso in Atlantic City, New Jersey on December 27th, 1929. They lived in New York, Ernesto passed away in 1940 at the age of 41. Catherine lived a very long life and passed at the age of 99 years old.
