EDWARD L. FOGELTANZ

Edward L. Fogeltanz, 61, of Kellnersville, died Monday morning at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 9:45 a.m. Thursday at Saur Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville. The Rev. Francis Kerscher will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Fogeltanz was born August 16, 1909, in the Town of Franklin, Manitowoc County, son of the late John and Anna Hill Fogeltanz. He married Anna Reindl Dec. 30, 1929, at Kellnersville. He was employed for 32 years as a janitor at St. Joseph Church and school at Kellnersville until he became ill in March of 1969. For many years he also was a bartender at Kubsch Country Inn, Kellnersville. Mr. Fogeltanz was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Joseph Church and a member of the ZCBJ Lodge No. 221 of Menchalville. He was also a member of the Kellnersville Betterment Assn.

Survivors include his wife, a son, Leo, of Kellnersville; a daughter, Mrs. Roger (Janice) Grall, of Manitowoc; four brothers, John of Rt. 2, Cato, William, Raymond and Leonard of Manitowoc; five sisters, Mrs. Louis Remiker Sr. of Francis Creek, Mrs. Anton Zahorik of Rt 2, Cato, Mrs. Edwin Shimek of Kellnersville, Mrs. Alvin Wanek of Manitowoc and Mrs. John Krizenesky of Brillion, and six grandchildren.
Two brothers preceded him in death.
