Lockport Union-Sun Journal, April 20, 1961, p.18. KIEFFER - John Kieffer of 8970 Main Street, Clarence passed away at Sisters Hospital, Buffalo, Wednesday April 19, 1961. He leaves his wife Bess Sutton Kieffer, one son Colonel John E. Kieffer U.S.A.F. retired, three grandsons John E. Jr., Richard A., and Christopher R., one grand daughter, Maryanna L. all of Washington, D.C. also one brother Dr. Eugene A. of Clarence, and one sister, Mrs. Joseph Hamburger of Buffalo. Friends may call at his home, Clarence where funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 3:30. Interment in Glenwood Cemetery.
