Ole H. Lotten, 76, former county resident died Thursday night at Eureka, Calif., where he has made his home the past 25 years. The body will arrive in Valders Tuesday morning and funeral services will be held in the afternoon at two o'clock from the Berge funeral home in Valders. Interment will be in the West Lutheran church cemetery. Mr. Lotten operated a farm near St. Nazianz for a number of years, moved into Valders and then went to California. A brother, Oscar, of Eureka, is the only survivor.

Valders, Wis. - Ole H. Lotten, 83, former Eaton township and Valders resident, passed away Dec. 21 at his home in Eureka, Cal., and burial was made Dec. 29 in the Valders West Church cemetery. Services were held at the Berge Funeral home at Valders with the Rev. Martin Trygstad officiating. Mr. Lotten was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Haaken Lotten, and was born in this vicinity on Aug. 25, 1859. The family lived about two miles southwest of St. Nazianz on a farm now owned by Joseph Knier, and later resided at Valders for several years before moving to California 25 years ago. Survivors are a brother, Oscar, of Eureka, Cal., and a sister, Mrs. Hannah Wriedt, also of Eureka. Pallbearers were Thomas Larson, Oscar C. Thompson, Oley Berge, Leonard Johnston, Albert Berge and Albert Severson.
